AERMOD View is a complete and powerful air dispersion modeling package which seamlessly incorporates the U.S. EPA’s preferred regulatory air dispersion model into a robust, easy-to-use interface.
The AMS/EPA Regulatory Model (AERMOD) is the state-of-the-science, steady-state Gaussian air dispersion model based on planetary boundary layer theory. AERMOD fully incorporates the PRIME building downwash algorithms, advanced depositional parameters, local terrain and urban heat island effects, and advanced meteorological turbulence calculations.
AERMOD is used extensively to assess pollution concentration and deposition from a wide variety of sources in locations all over the world.
