Course Instructors

Prof. Thé has over 20 years experience in thermal fluid flow and environmental simulations. He is the principle author of AERMOD View, CALPUFF View, IRAP-h View, and Emissions View, among others. He frequently consults for regulatory agencies in Canada, the United States, and abroad on topics related to complex air modeling projects. Thé is also a professor at the University of Waterloo, and has authored several commercial software guidance and co-authored technical environmental books. Dr. Jesse Thé is a phenomenal lecturer, who receives outstanding reviews from those attending his courses.

Mr. Hammer serves as the Senior Product Specialist for Lakes Environmental and is based out of the Dallas, Texas office. He has over a decade of experience in the field of air quality modeling and is currently responsible for all aspects of software technical support at Lakes Environmental. Michael also has extensive experience in processing meteorological data for dispersion modeling applications. He has instructed numerous courses on the fundamentals of air dispersion modeling, advanced modeling theory, and the use of air dispersion modeling software. Mr. Hammer graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Meteorology from Texas A&M University.

Mr. Munshed is a chemical engineer with over ten years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, energy projects, and environmental projects. A graduate of the University of Waterloo, his research revolves around evaluating human health impacts due to air toxics exposure from industrial and non-industrial sources using stochastic models. He has spent a great deal of time working on many high-profile environmental projects, including upstream oil and gas exploration and development, as well as downstream refining and transport. Mr. Munshed is currently undertaking a PhD in Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada.
