AERMOD View - EVENT Processing
When modeling with source groups in the AERMOD air dispersion model, it is not always obvious how much each sources contributes to a calculated concentration. To facilitate source contribution analysis, AERMOD includes routines called EVENT processing which analyze user-specified events (e.g., design concentrations, threshold violations) and print each source’s contribution to the event.

AERMOD View - Common Upper Air Data Errors in AERMET
Several air dispersion models require measurements of vertical meteorological parameters or “upper air data”. This data is recorded from weather balloons launched simultaneously around the globe at 00Z and 12Z each day. Data is made available from several resources including the NOAA/ESRL Radiosonde Database. Users can look up and download data for worldwide locations as far back as the mid-1940s. The Forecast Systems Laboratory format, or FSL format, is used by several meteorological data preprocessors including READ62, the upper air data pre-processor for the CALPUFF modeling system, and AERMET.

Working with Overlays in Lakes Software Applications
One of the cornerstones to working with Lakes Environmental Software products is the drawing area. This is where all objects and layers are displayed for viewing and editing. One tool users have to properly control what is displayed in the drawing area is the Overlays tab on the Tree View.
