AERMOD View - W320 Message
AERMOD performs several quality assurance checks on data when it begins processing inputs. As part of these checks, the model will write several warning and informational messages to the output file for the user to reference. One common message bears the warning code W320.

AERMOD View - Receptor Elevation Options
The AERMOD model can calculate ground-level concentrations in either flat or elevated terrain. AERMAP is used to calculate model object elevations, and its output can be passed to AERMOD in one of two ways.

Complex air dispersion modeling projects may require large amounts of time to process. One way to reduce model runtimes is to reduce the number of receptors. A method by which some regulatory agencies allow modelers to reduce their receptors is through the use of significant receptors. To identify significant receptors, modelers must first complete a run using a large receptor grid. A concentration threshold is specified and receptors which exceed the threshold are extracted for further processing.
