  • JESSE VAN GRIENSVEN THÉ, PH.D., P.ENG.

    PH.D., P.ENG. PRESIDENT, FOUNDER, UNIVERSITY OF WATERLOO PROFESSOR

    Dr. Thé is the president and founding partner of Lakes Software. He has vast knowledge and experience with industrial processes, regulatory compliance, software engineering, emissions estimations, and air dispersion modeling. He is the senior author of multiple air dispersion modeling software packages including AERMOD View, CALPUFF View and others. Dr. Thé has served as senior instructor at hundreds of training courses globally in emissions inventory, air dispersion modeling, and human health risk assessment. He has conducted and/or coordinated more than 100 consulting projects internationally in air quality and groundwater. Dr. Thé is a professor at the University of Waterloo and is the author of a collection of industry textbook publications.

    DIRECTOR OF SOFTWARE QUALITY, FOUNDER

    Cristiane is an expert in software design and usability who has directed many software development projects at Lakes Software. She is a technical specialist in air dispersion modeling, emissions inventory development, management of IT solutions, software interface design and usability, quality assurance, dashboarding, and environmental software requirements. Cristiane is a co-author of widely used GIS-based air dispersion modeling software products such as AERMOD View and CALPUFF View. She has worked extensively with the development of IT solutions for emissions inventory, environmental management, and meteorological data services for customers around the world.

    DIRECTOR OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

    Mike is a Director of Software Development who has served as a mentor for countless developers at Lakes Software. He is an expert object-oriented programmer with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Mike has led the development and implementation of web-based environmental management IT solutions for clients around the world. He is skilled in developing and working with GIS systems and networks and is co-author of numerous environmental software solutions including AQMIS Cloud.

    MANAGER, US OPERATIONS

    Bryan is an experienced project manager and data analyst with over 15 years of experience managing and conducting air dispersion and risk assessment modeling projects. He has managed the development and marketing of large-scale emissions inventory and dispersion modeling systems. Bryan participated in the development of numerous key U.S. EPA guidance documents including the Human Health Risk Assessment Protocol (HHRAP) and Screening Level Risk Assessment Protocol (SLERAP). He is highly experienced utilizing GIS data and software applications to provide unique solutions for clients in the environmental and energy sectors.

    Oleg has provided Lakes Software with over 20 years of software development. As a senior software developer, he has used his knowledge as a web-based database programmer with networks, ORACLE, MS-SQL Server, SQLite, and distributed systems to help build software such as AERMOD View, CALPUFF View, and AQMIS Cloud. He specializes in environmental data management systems including emissions inventory, web-based business dashboards, reporting and modeling.

    Valeriy has been a valued contributor at Lakes Software for over 20 years. He is an experienced senior programmer with proficiency in mapping systems, visualization, data management systems, ORACLE, MS-SQL Server, SQLite, reporting systems, ASP.NET web applications, ASP.NET MVC applications, and object-oriented programming. He has contributed to many popular software packages such as CALPUFF View, AERMOD View, and AQMIS Cloud.
